Woodcarving - Carve A Woodland Owl

A perfect beginner's carving class where students will carve a woodland owl. Learn the basics of woodcarving as you spend the day with North Country woodcarver Jack Taylor. Students select which type of owl and spend the day learning carving techniques, sanding, burning and finishing the project. All supplies will be provided and students will receive a custom made carving knife to take with them. Lunch will be provided. Class size is limited to 12 students.

SPECIAL TREE NUT ALLERGY NOTE: Students will be carving and sanding butternut wood for this workshop.

REGISTRATION
Registration will open on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at noon and remain open until Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at noon. After registration closes names of participants will be picked by lottery. If your name is picked then you will receive an email confirming that you are registered on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. If your name is placed on a waiting list, you will also be notified on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 and you will be contacted as soon as possible if a workshop space opens up. Questions?
